Foundation and powder are the two components that helps to evens out the skin tone and helps to create a clean ‘canvass’ for makeup colors on the eyes, cheeks and lips to shine. More importantly, the right foundation will help address skin issues such as skin sensitivity, breakouts and even pigmentation. Choosing the right formula is essential to complement your skin type. For best results, we recommend either a liquid or creamy texture.

Work on the Foundation

(1) Always take a small amount of foundation color and gently fade out the edges with light dabs on the side of your face, along the jaw line. The right color will look as though it has disappeared into your skin.

(2) Take sufficient amount and place onto the back of the hands. Use your fingers to spread the foundation slightly to soften the texture before applying to the face.

(3) Apply on the forehead, cheek, and nose plus the chin area. Spread foundation out evenly with downward stroke to ensure a smooth blend. Avoid working too close to the hairline.

Tips: You can either apply the foundation with your fingers using light dab and glide movement.
For a more even blend use a sponge.

Brush on the Powder

(1) Pick a powder shade that matches with your foundation and use a powder brush to apply the powder by breaking the powder slightly to avoid clumping.

(2) Brush on the powder with gradual rotating movement from the forehead right to the chin to avoid the cakey effect.

(3) Finish off along the jaw line and slightly on the neck area. Keep away from the hairline and eye brow
area.

There are 2 crucial things to keep in mind when it comes to eye colors. One is to choose the right shades, while the other is to keep the definition strong with liners and mascaras.

Eye for Details

(1) Apply a light concealer to minimize any dark eye circles. Choose a neutral shades of light beige apply it over the entire eye crease, but avoid the brow bone. Use an eye shadow blender brush.

(2) Choose a shade of eye shadow that matches your apparel, apply it over the outer eye corner and blend the colors upwards into the inner eye crease to create a smooth contouring effect. Use an eye shadow contour brush.

(3) Finish the eye shadow colors by applying the highlight along the brow bone area using a white matte or pearlescent shimmer to create a three-dimensional depth to open up the eye area.

(4) Rim the upper eye with a sharp liner application working along the lash line using either a pencil liner for a natural look or an intense definition with a liquid liner. Apply the lower lash line with a soft wash of eye shadow colors using an eye shadow angle brush with dark or medium eye shadow colors.

(5) Don’t forget to prim the lashes with a coat of mascara, using a zig-zag movement glide the mascara from the root to the tip of the eye lash. Allow to dry, apply a second coat if preferred.

A rosy cheek and luscious lip is a sign of youthful vitality. Always ensure to add a pop of blusher over the cheek area and pair it up with suitable lip colors.

Cheeks for Chic

(1) Begin with a hearty smile to find the joyous apples of the cheek and spread the blushers along the apples. Work on with light rotating movement on each apples of the cheek.

(2) Perfect blushing techniques should appear soft and luminous to create a healthy lift for the face. Use a blusher brush.

Vibrant Lip Service

(1) Prime the lips with a coat of lip moisturizer to prevent lip colors from flaking. Use a lip brush to apply a spread of lip colors evenly over the entire lip area. Opt for a sheer texture for a casual look and more vibrant shades for prominent occasions.

(2) Add a tinge of gloss to create the irresistible pucker. Always apply on upper lip and smack for an overall coat to avoid smearing of lip colors.
